Tinashe Muyambo, General Manager - Leadway Assurance

Tinashe is the General Manager and Head of Life at Leadway Assurance Company Limited. He is responsible for leading the senior management team in developing and executing growth strategies and overseeing the coordination of the Life business and actuarial activities of Leadway Assurance Company Limited in Nigeria.

 

Tinashe has over 18 years of experience in consulting and insurance. Prior to joining Leadway Assurance, he spent most of his career at Willis Tower Watson Global Operations rising to the Head of Africa Consulting at Willis Towers Watson, United Kingdom. In this role, he focused on delivering human capital solutions across the continent.

Ben Ngoye, Professor - Strathmore Business School

Ben is a professor at Strathmore Business School. His current teaching and research interests are focused on organization theory and behaviour, decision making, performance measurement and management.

 

 He was the founding director of the Institute for Healthcare Management at Strathmore University and has served on various government technical working groups.

 

He currently acts as an advisor to various government, non-government and academic initiatives. He has also led, managed and consulted with various institutions in East and Southern Africa.

Gibson is the Head Of Health and Benefits, Anglo Africa at Gras Savoye Kenya, a Willis Tower Watson Subsidiary and is based in Nigeria leading the Health and Benefits team.

 

Gibson has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry, specializing in Employee benefits in the later 10. He forms part of the WTW Africa consulting team that specializes in research, product development, compliance checks and placement of complex international employee benefits insurance and self-funded solutions.

 

His background as a Big Data Analyst, the statistician has been key in implementing Pan African programs for medical, risk, accident and retirement programs for various multinational organizations in Africa.

Over the course of his career, Gibson has built deep insight using analytics to model innovative bespoke solutions in medical and wellness initiatives for clients and insurance companies.

Oluwatoyin Subair, Executive Chairman - Digital Play

Toyin is an entrepreneur and the Executive Chairman of Digital Play Ltd.

 

In 1997, He set up Abraham & Co, Solicitors & Advocates, and represented companies like Microsoft, HP, and numerous local right owners including music groups, actors and film production companies. 

 

Responding to the lack of local business infrastructure to support the evolving film & music industry, he began his pioneering efforts in mainstream media, film and music through setting up several business entities, including HiTV Limited, Numetro West Africa, Integrated Leisure Property Company Ltd and Hi Buzz Dreamville Limited.

He is a co-founder & investor in the 3rd largest cinema in Africa and a leading adviser to 3 African countries on the Digital Switch Over. Toyin is a recipient of various awards, including This Day Awards Young Manager of the year and the City People Awards, Entrepreneur of the year.

Fabia Ogunmekan, Executive Secretary - WISCAR Nigeria

Fabia is a Lawyer and Corporate Executive with 19 years’ experience working in the fields of law and development across Corporate Organizations and Non-profits in the healthcare, gender and entrepreneurship sectors.

 

After a short stint in independent consulting, she joined WISCAR in March 2018 as Executive Secretary. In her role at WISCAR, she is responsible for strategy execution, programme development and oversight, brokering partnerships, fundraising and stakeholder management.

 

Finally, she is a facilitator at the Lagos Business School’s Nonprofit Leadership and Management Programme.

Nick Zaranyika, CEO - Total Health Trust

Nick is the CEO of Total Health Trust Limited (THT), one of Nigeria’s leading Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs).

 

Nick has been involved in health insurance since 2009 when he joined Liberty Health in South Africa. In 2010, Liberty Health seconded him to THT in Nigeria, as Regional Business Development Manager to spearhead the launch and distribution of their innovative pan African health insurance product. In 2013 he was appointed Deputy CEO of TH and was subsequently appointed CEO in June 2015.

Musa Rabiu, Group Chief Human Resources Officer - Dangote Cement

Musa is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer of Dangote Cement; He is a strategic management professional with over 30 years’ experience acquired while working for several leading companies in the country including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Jordi Borrut Bel, Managing Director & CEO - Nigerian Breweries Plc.

Jordi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Breweries Plc, a Heineken Subsidiary in Nigeria.

 

Jordi has over 20 years’ experience in business and sales, and he has spent his entire career at Heineken. He joined the Heineken N.V. group in 1997 as Sales Representative at Heineken Spain.

 

 From 1999 to 2006, he held various commercial positions at Heineken, first as Distribution Project Manager in Slovakia, thereafter as Brand Manager at Heineken France and later a Trade Marketing Manager at the Group Commerce headquarters in Amsterdam. After these roles, he returned to Heineken Spain where he occupied different positions, eventually becoming Director of Sales and Distribution. Jordi was, until his current appointment as the Managing Director of Heineken Burundi.

Adekunle Rosiji, Group Executive Director - Lexcel Group

Emmanuel Imafidon is a professional with over 30 years’ experience in the education, manufacturing and oil & gas sectors. He was the Director of Human Resources & Medical in Chevron Nigeria Limited for seven years and subsequently, the Director of Business Services for nine years before leaving the company. Prior to these two roles, he had worked in different managerial capacities in the HR function of Chevron Nigeria Limited and the Nigerian Tobacco Company.

His key enduring experiences include the development, deployment and maturing of efficient shared service organizations, development & operationalization of HR strategy, management of employee issues in multicultural settings, initiation/implementation of enhancements of work systems and procedures driven by simplification, effectiveness, efficiency and digital technologies. 

Emmanuel’s main professional interests are in people and organizational development.  Specifically, he is passionate about imparting knowledge, empowering HR functions, articulating and developing the organization’s culture and human performance enhancement.

Emmanuel has a Bachelors in Education (Political Science) from the University of Benin, an M. Sc. In Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos. He also has an MBA from the IESE Business School, Barcelona (under the auspices of Lagos Business School) and is currently completing his PhD in International Business at the International School of Management, Paris.
