Francophone Conference steering group meets in Abidjan

Closed-door meeting sets the topics for the Talent Agenda Series in Francophone Africa

HR and business leaders met at the Sofitel in Abidjan recently to determine the agenda for the Francophone human capital conference, part of the Talent Agenda Series, which will be held in the city from 13-14 September 2017.

More than 30 attendees fed into an interactive workshop discussion, hosted by the African Development Bank, which was represented by its HR Director David Ssegawa. Mr Ssegawa himself opened the session with a persuasive discourse on global mega trends, linked to regional human capital challenges.

The session outcomes have been published in a paper by the Talent Agenda Series, which you can download here. This paper includes the key topics identified, as well as insight from the Careers in Africa Employer of Choice study and Mr Ssegawa's presentation.
